Football in Sutton Coldfield ๐Ÿค™

Join us if you are looking to play casual 8-a-side football in Birmingham. This social and inclusive game is open to players of all skills and abilities.

Game details. Read carefully ๐Ÿ‘‡

Meeting Point: By the benches between the pitches. Please put boots on here. See important boot info below.
Time: Please arrive 10 minutes before the kick-off. Latecomers might risk losing their spot.
Duration: 1-hour slot. Brief intros, team selections and weโ€™ll kick off.
Game On: 12+ players, the game will be on. The organiser will cancel the session and issue a refund if not enough on the list.
Attendance: If you can't make it, ensure you remove your name from the list ASAP. No spot selling/trading allowed!

Kit instructions ๐Ÿ‘•
Bring both a light and dark top in case of bib colour clashes. Teams are selected on the pitch.

About the venue๐Ÿ“

Surface: All-weather artificial grass.
Footwear: โ—Strict footwear policy - boots with moulded plastic studs/blades allowed. No astros, trainers or metal studs allowed. Please put boots on/take off at benches.
Facilities: Toilets available
Parking: Free on-site parking on-site. Entrance is the little lane opposite the Ford Garage on Coleshill Rd.

How we play โšฝ

Goalkeeping: Everyone goes in goal. Rotation every 7-8 minutes.
Game Rules: No slide tackles allowed. Ok to go in the areas.
Attitude: Encourage and support all players. Keep everybody involved in the game.
Game Host: We play with no referee. Respect and honesty are key. Game host has final word.
Wayward Shot? If the ball goes over a fence, go and fetch it please.
Equipment: It never hurts to have an extra ball, so bring one if you have.
