Women's & non binary football in Islington

Proceeds from these sessions will go to our charity partner Girls United, who envision a world where girls and women globally can reach their potential, using the power of football. Providing opportunities for the next generation of players in London and Mexico, Girls United aims to develop important life skills and confidence along with technical and physical skills.

Join us if you are looking to play casual 8-a-side football in Islington while supporting a good cause. This women & non binary game is open to players of all skills and abilities.

Game details. Read carefully 👇

Meeting Point: We play on pitch 1
Time: Please arrive 10 minutes before the kick-off so you are ready to start on time
Duration: 1-hour slot. Brief intros, team selections and we’ll kick off
Game On: 10+ players, the game will be on. The organiser will cancel the session if not enough in and issue a refund
Attendance: If you can't make it, ensure you remove your name from the list ASAP. No spot selling/trading allowed

Kit instructions 👕
Bring both a light and dark top in case of no bibs. Teams are selected on the pitch.

Venue information📍

Entrance Guide: Football pitch located inside the Park
Surface: All-weather 4G artificial grass
Goals: 7-a-side goals, with sidelines
Footwear: Astro-turfs or trainers recommended, no metal studs or blades
Facilities: No Changing rooms and showers are available
Parking: No parking on site. Please use street parking outside the venue
Transport: Highbury & Islington, Holloway Rd. Kings Cross or Caledonian Road

How we play ⚽

Goalkeeping: Everyone goes in goal. Rotation every 7 minutes
Game Rules: Normal 11-a-side rules, no offsides. No slide tackles allowed
Attitude: Encourage and support all players. Keep everybody involved in the game
Game Host: We play with no referee. Respect and honesty are key
Equipment: It never hurts to have an extra ball, so bring one if you have
