Description
A match of Carls v Steves. Looking for players called Steve and Carl only.
Basically, at university me and my best mate Steve discovered whenever Carlisle United and Stevenage Town play each other at football, their names on Sky Sports get abbreviated to CARL v STEVE. It tickles us greatly.
Now, next week Steve is moving to Canada. As a SURPRISE gift, I'm pulling together a football match fundraiser in aid of Rethink Mental Illness of 5 Carls v 5 Steves. And I was wondering if you'd like to play,
The match is in Vauxhall pleasure gardens and will cost you nothing.
No skill or fitness is required for the game, it's just a bit of a laugh with a pub visit at the end. I'm encouraging everyone to bring family and friends to get a decent crowd. I can send you more info but I'd love it if you could join us. And even better, if you have a mate called Carl or Steve who'd like to play against you let me know!
