Morden Recreation Park- Grass pitch

Hey everyone!

Exciting news! We're kicking off a weekly 7-a-side football game. Whether you're a seasoned pro or just looking to have some fun on the field, this is your chance to lace up your boots and join in on the action.

Details:
🗓️ Date: Every Sunday Morning (10 am - 1 hour)
🕘 Time: 10 am
📍 Location: Morden Recreation Park, Farm Road, (Grass Pitch outside tennis courts)
👥 Team Size: 5- 7 players per side depending on numbers
🚗 Free parking available on Farm Road, SM4 6RB

Game Format:

No marked lines: We'll be using cones and poles for marking the field.
Mini goals will be used as goal posts: Let's aim for those mini nets!
Bibs will be provided: Please also bring both light and dark tops to help split teams more easily.
Ball will be provided: But feel free to bring your own if you prefer.
Grass pitch: Make sure to wear appropriate footwear for the surface.
1-hour game: We'll play two 30-minute halves with a short water break in between, so bring your A-game!

Please arrive 10 mins before KO so you are ready to start on time.

House Rules:
- This is a mixed ability group with mostly guys in their 20s - early 40s.
- You're not expected to be a pro, but we do expect you to have played football in a team setting before.
- It's not suitable if you're just looking to kill time and not run, as we like to keep up the intensity.
- If you need to leave the game, please try to give 24 hours' notice before kickoff so we can find a replacement.
- No shows will be permanently blocked from future bookings.
