About this game
NEW 9-10PM time slot September 2024 onwards
Every Thursday evening between 9-10pm we play a football match on half a full sized pitch at Battersea Park astro turf. (Battersea Park All Weather Sports Ground in the South West corner of the Park next to the mini golf and climbing frames by Albert Bridge Road)
12-16 players attend and we split in to two even teams and play a match for an hour.
The cost to play is £5 on the night in cash, all the money goes towards the pitch hire and use of balls and bibs.
Quite simple really, in a great central location at Battersea Park. Walking distance or a short bus ride from Clapham Junction station.
A Thursday slot has been used for this arrangement for a number of years and the players have always been friendly and welcoming, so it is a great atmosphere to play a hassle free game of football.
