Description

Casual Football Near Central Manchester ⚽️

Join us for a relaxed, social 8-a-side football match near the University of Manchester! This game is open to players of all abilities.

Event Details:

Meeting Point: We’ll meet at the large outdoor 3G pitch, using a third of the field.

Arrival Time: Please arrive 10 minutes before kick-off to secure your place. Latecomers might lose their spot.

Game Duration: The session lasts 1 hour, starting with quick introductions, team selections, and then we’re off!

Game Status: The match will go ahead if 10 or more players are signed up. If there aren’t enough players, the game will be cancelled, and refunds will be provided.

Attendance Policy: If you can't attend, please remove your name from the list as soon as possible. Spot selling or swapping is not allowed.

Refund Policy 💸

You are entitled to a full refund (as credit in your account) if you cancel at least 24 hours before the game, in line with the game’s refund policy. Check the booking for more details.

  • Pitch Type: All-weather artificial 3G surface, enclosed by a cage.
  • Footwear: Astros or trainers are recommended. Metal studs and blades are not allowed.
  • Facilities: Changing rooms and showers are available.
  • Parking: Limited parking available, so plan to arrive early if driving.

Match Format ⚽️

  • Goalkeeper Rotation: Everyone will take turns in goal, rotating every 5 minutes.
  • Rules: The game host will decide the area rules. No slide tackles are allowed.
  • Team Spirit: Make sure to encourage and support all players. Everyone’s here to enjoy themselves!
  • Host Responsibilities: There’s no referee, so honesty and fair play are key.
  • Extra Equipment: Feel free to bring an extra ball if you have one—it never hurts to have more.
