Join us if you are looking to play casual 6-a-side football in Lichfield. This casual and inclusive game is open to players of all skills and abilities.

Meeting point: Pedestrian gate right of the reception and left of the leisure centre
Time: Please arrive 10 minutes before the kick-off.
Duration: 1-hour slot. Brief intros, team selections and we’ll kick off.
Attendance: If you can't make it, ensure you remove your name from the list ASAP.

Surface: Astro turf
Footwear: Strict footwear policy - Astros or trainers only. No boots or studs of any kind permitted.
Parking: Free on-site parking. Please use the school car park on the left as you enter NOT the leisure centre's on the right.

How we play ⚽

Goalkeeping: Everyone takes a turn in goal (unless someone particularly wants to play in goal)

Game Rules:

• No slide tackles allowed
• Only headed goals can be scored in the areas. All other shots must be taken outside the area
• Outfield players are allowed in the areas
• Goalkeepers are allowed out of the area but cannot handle the ball outside
• Kick-ins from the sidelines 
• Defending players to give 2 yards from kick-ins and corners
• Goalkeepers can't handle the ball from a deliberate passback
• Goalkeepers can't receive the ball back directly from a player they have passed to, until it has touched a second outfield player

Attitude: Encourage and support all players. Keep everybody involved in the game.
Game host: We play with no referee. Respect and honesty are key.
Wayward shot? If the ball goes over a fence, go and fetch it please.
Equipment: It never hurts to have an extra ball, so bring one if you have one.
