Social football game in Woking ⚽️

Join us if you are looking to play casual football in Woking. This social and inclusive game in partnership with Freedom Leisure is open to players of all skills and abilities. We work together through weekly football to tackle isolation and obesity.

Game details. Read carefully 👇

Meeting Point: Pitch 2. Go through reception and walk around the viewing balcony to the other side of the building, there is strictly no access to the football pitches from the car park or outside areas.
Time: Please arrive 10 minutes before the kick-off. Latecomers might risk losing their spot
Duration: 1-hour slot. Brief intros, team selections and we’ll kick off
Game On: 10+ players, the game will be on. The organiser will cancel the session if not enough in and issue a refund
Attitude: We promote a friendly atmosphere – no shouting or aggressive behaviour. Respect venue staff and follow their instructions
Attendance: If you can't make it, ensure you remove your name from the list ASAP. No spot selling/trading allowed!

Kit instructions 👕
Bring both a light and dark top in case of no bibs. Teams are selected on the pitch.

Venue: Woking Leisure Centre📍

Entrance Guide: You have to go through the Leisure Centre to get to the pitches
Surface: All-weather 3G artificial grass
Goals: 5-a-side goals
Footwear: Astro-turfs or moulds recommended, no metal studs or blades
Facilities: Changing rooms and showers available
Transport: Closest station: Woking Station
Parking: (Kingfield Road, opposite Woking Football Club) Up to 2 hours free parking. Additional parking behind the leisure centre (under the football pitches)

How we play ⚽

Goalkeeping: Everyone goes in goal. Rotation every 6 minutes
Game Rules: Normal 11-a-side rules, no offsides. No slide tackles allowed
Vibe: Encourage and support all players. Keep everybody involved in the game
Game Host: We play with no referee. Respect and honesty are key
Equipment: It never hurts to have an extra ball, bring one if you can
