Five a Side in Barnes

My Five-a-Side group - Barnes Stormers FC is looking for more players. We are about intermediate to Advanced level- if you are interested, please drop me a message. It's on this Wednesday (every Wednesday) and we are short so would be nice to have some new ones soon!!

We usually have around 15 players and so have 3 teams playing two 8-minute games on, then resting for one game off (whilst the other two teams play). We play on nice pitches with astro-turf and high fences which prevent most shots from sailing over onto the railway lines... although not all. The games are 'friendly' but the standard is generally pretty good and we do play competitively (as in, trying to win!).
We have a very diverse set of guys playing, made up of plenty of London’s club’s players from Stonewall, London Falcons and London Titans, in a friendly and welcoming environment. And like all good footy folk, we will all be found at the nearby local watering hole soon after the final whistle.
Whatever your age, sexuality, race, gender or creed, come on down. The pitch is superb and the banter is brilliant. As long as you have some experience of playing you will fit right in.
Barnes is really easy to get to, and we have players from North, South, East and West London attending.

The pitches are a 5 minute walk from the station.
