Description
Every Thursday evening between 9-10pm we play a football match on half a full sized pitch at Battersea Park astro turf. NO STUDDED BOOTS, ONLY TRAINERS/ASTRO TURF FOOTWEAR - OTHERWISE GROUNDSTAFF WILL NOT LET YOU PLAY ON THE PITCH
12-16 players attend and we split in to two even teams and play a match for an hour.
The cost to play is £5 CASH ON THE NIGHT, all the money goes towards the pitch hire and use of balls and bibs.
Quite simple really and in a great central location at Battersea Park which is walking distance or a short bus ride from Clapham Junction station.
This 9-10pm Thursday slot has been used for this arrangement for a number of years and the players have always been friendly and welcoming, so it is a great atmosphere to play a hassle free game of football for next to nothing.
