West London NHS Trust peer support team formed a partnership with Everyone Active and the Footy Addicts Company to provide a “Football for Wellbeing Hub” open to all in West London including the community, service users and West London NHS Trust workers. We work together to create wellbeing spaces in the community and improve physical and mental health in a fun and inclusive environment.*
Please note!
It will be a therapeutic football session included players who are experiencing mental health difficulties and not a competitive football session if you would like to consider!*
Duration:
- One hour football session, brief intros, team selections and we’ll kick off at 6pm
- Half an hour optional stay to socialise or discuss your mental health concern with our mental health professional in a private space
Meeting Point: Meet next to the pitch. If unsure, ask at reception which pitch the NHS football for wellbeing game is on.
Time: Please arrive 10 minutes before the kick-off. Latecomers might risk losing their spot.
Game On: 22 players, the game will be on. The organiser will cancel the session if not enough in.
