Tabard Gardens Football

oin us for 1 hour of sand-based astroturf football, kicking off promptly at 7pm and finishing at 8pm. Please aim to arrive at least 5 minutes early so we can start on time.

This is friendly but competitive football that’s been going strong for over 15 years. We have a mixed standard and age range, from 20-somethings through to (almost) pensioners, so everyone’s welcome as long as you’re up for a good game.

Footwear: Astroturf trainers are recommended.

Cost:

£6 CASH per game, or
Pay Ben via bank transfer, or
£50 upfront for a block of matches (works out cheaper and guarantees your weekly spot).

Speak to Ben Brocklehurst before the match or drop him a message to sort payment.

Rules:

Goalkeepers rotate every 6–7 minutes
No scoring inside the box – only the keeper is allowed in the area
No passing back to the keeper once you’ve received the ball from them
Throw-ins allowed above head height if the ball goes out of play

Most importantly:
Respect your opponents. No aggressive behaviour will be tolerated. Keep it competitive, but keep it friendly.
