Vale farm 7/8 a side

Hi everyone,

I’ve been organising football games at Vale Farm Sports Centre for over 20 years, and we’re looking to bring in some fresh faces.

We have players 20+, with everyone playing to a solid standard. The games are not really suited to complete beginners, but you definitely don’t need to be the next Cristiano Ronaldo or Lionel Messi either.

The atmosphere is always friendly, fun, and competitive. Games are very free-flowing, and we rarely stop for fouls or handballs unless they are very obvious/intentional. The focus is on enjoying good football in the right spirit.

A few important points:

• Astro turf boots only please, no blades or moulds, to help avoid injuries
• If you are going to goal hang all game and not track players this game isn't suited for you
• Everyone arrives 5 minutes early so we can start on time
• We have stick goalkeepers, on the odd occasion if not everyone goes in goal for 5-10 minutes
• Bibs are provided
• Fifa approved footballs used
• First aid kid with heat/cool sprays available
