About this game
Groundworks Mixed Football Session is a friendly and inclusive weekly football session open to adults of all abilities. The sessions provide an opportunity for people to stay active, improve fitness, meet new people and enjoy football in a safe and welcoming environment.
The project aims to reduce social isolation, improve physical and mental wellbeing, and bring local people together through sport. No previous football experience is required, and everyone is encouraged to participate regardless of age, gender, background or ability.
The sessions promote teamwork, confidence, friendship and community spirit while helping participants lead healthier and more active lives.
