Hi there,

I've been the organiser of a weekly match on Sundays in Wandsworth for four years now.

Recently a few players have left London so sometimes we've struggled to get the 14 or 16 needed and a friend recommended Footy Addicts. We are actively looking for new players who might want to join our weekly mailing list for matches although we have a no commitment to play rule - you just play if you are free and you want on any given weekend.

Our next match is on Sunday 18th Oct at 12pm.

Skill level is mixed and it's always a really friendly game. We're mostly in our late 20s or early 30s so we're there to enjoy ourselves, not to take it too seriously or get injured. Hardly anyone bothers to even wear shin pads as slide tackling is not allowed.

Pitches are nice, new 3G ones at Wandle Recreation Centre near Wandsworth Town station. Kick off is 12pm and although it's officially an hour we usually play for 90mins or so as the pitches are rarely booked after us. We play 8-a-side if we get 16 of us, 7-a-side if we get 14. I only book pitch when we have at least confirmed 14 players as Wandle Rec Centre don't do refunds.
