Looking to play football in Warwickshire? Kenilworth School on Glasshouse Lane in Kenilworth has two full size floodlit 3G pitches, run for the community by KMAT Leisure. It's on the Coventry side of town, so it's easy to reach for players from Kenilworth, Leek Wootton, Stoneleigh, Burton Green, Baginton and the southern edge of Coventry, including the University of Warwick.
The school sits on the north-eastern edge of Kenilworth, where the town gives way to open fields and woodland. Kenilworth Wardens cricket club is right next door, and there's new housing going up along Glasshouse Lane. The school only moved here in 2023, so the whole site, including the pitches and changing rooms, is fairly new. Kenilworth town centre is just over a mile away.
Pitches: Two full size 3G pitches built to FIFA Quality standard, both floodlit with LED lighting
Changing Rooms & Showers: Available, along with toilets and lockers
Parking: Free on-site parking
Entrance Guide: Turn into the school from Glasshouse Lane and follow the signs for KMAT Leisure. The 3G pitches are on the school grounds behind the main building.
Buses: The X17 between Coventry and Warwick stops on Dalehouse Lane near Knowle Hill, about a 10 minute walk away, and runs every half an hour during the day. The 24A from Coventry also stops there.
Train: Kenilworth station on Station Road is the nearest, roughly a 20 to 25 minute walk. Trains run hourly to Leamington Spa one way and Coventry and Nuneaton the other.
