Important Information:
- Games for intermediate/advanced players (not complete beginners please)
- Mix between regulars and new players
- If you have a football, feel free to bring it with you
- No selling or trading spots
- If you can no longer make it to the game, remove yourself from the game ASAP to free the spot(s)
- Please arrive 15mins before KO so you are ready to start on time

Venue Details:
- Top quality 4G FA Approved Pitch.
- Entrance is via Leisure United
- Half of an 11 a side’s pitch - 10 a side sized goals with sidelines
- You can wear boots but no metal studs
- Changing rooms available
- Parking Available On-Site

Game Play Rules:
- Be on time to kick off on time!
- Referee/Host's decision is final - respect it!
- No sliding (except for Goalkeepers)
- Throw ins - If the ball goes out, it’s a throw in (no foul throws as long as the ball comes from behind the head)
- No pass-backs
- Offsides - we call obvious offsides (goal-hanging) but unfortunately it might be too difficult to call smaller ones
- Goalkeepers change every 5 minutes
- Keep everybody involved in the game
- No shouting and no aggressive behaviour
- Enjoy the game, be positive and play your football

This is a test of your mettle, guile, mental fortitude and people skills. All within an above average pressured environment, to most games on the app.

So, expect an experience… good or bad.

There is an abundance of fun to be had, once the user sees past the surface level of proceedings; before, during and after the game.

Playing to the highest, or a near enough, level of ability in yourself will be the bare minimum.

A lot of teamwork is required, that is arguably the most demanded trait. Whether it is on or off the ball, as well as communicating.

So, unfortunately, if you have the intentions of taking the literal aspect of FootyAddicts, it being a nothing game, you have to be a very good player.

It is a nothing game, but in real time it’s far from.

Worrying about circumstances beyond your control, mainly what level of player turns up, will leave a sour taste in your mouth as minutes tick.

The hosts will accommodate at all times. It is at their best interest to have a balanced and flowing game. Teams will be done aiming to make it fair for every participant.

If we could predict every lineup, we would have also won multiple lotteries by now.

We are not short of hearts on sleeves type of players, expect football chat you would hear on a Saturday & Sunday. Do not take things personal, nor be personal. It is all within the spirit of the game 😁
