Our Friday Women’s Football session is a welcoming, inclusive and friendly football session for women aged 18+, open to the wider community.

Whether you're getting back into football, looking for regular weekly games or simply want to play and meet new people, you're welcome to join us.

Please arrive 10 minutes early. Late arrivals may risk losing their place.

✅ Game On

We aim to have enough players at every session for the games to go ahead, even if all the places advertised on Footy Addicts have not been booked. Our sessions also include registered Minds United players who do not book through Footy Addicts.

👥 Attendance

If you can't make the session, please remove your name from the Footy Addicts list as soon as possible so your place can become available to someone else.

🟨 Game Host / Referee

Our sessions are hosted by Minds United and matches are overseen by a qualified referee, helping to keep the games organised, fair and flowing.

👟 Footwear Rules

Astro trainers only.

❌ No moulded boots
❌ No studs
❌ No blades

Players wearing unsuitable footwear will not be able to take part.

📝 Registration — Required for Everyone

All players must register with Minds United Sports Club CIC before taking part, including players who have booked through Footy Addicts.

Registration only takes a few minutes. We'll ask for some basic details and take a photo for your member profile so we can complete your registration.

If this is your first session, please arrive early enough to complete your registration before the session starts.

🏆 Interested in Playing for Minds United FC?

Our Friday sessions can also provide an opportunity for women who are interested in representing Minds United FC in competitive football.

Players who show the required ability, attitude, commitment and teamwork may have opportunities to be invited into our women's team.

We participate in Sunday league matches, tournaments and competitions throughout the year.

If you're interested in progressing into our women's team, speak to one of our coaches at the session.

Before We Start

The session will begin with brief introductions and team selection before the football gets underway.
